Former Retail Energy Vice President Launching New Online Auction Energy Broker A former Vice President of a retail energy supplier is launching a new online reverse auction energy broker, Energy Auction House Inc.
Specifically, Lauren Langbert serves as President of the start-up Energy Auction House Inc.
Langbert was previously Senior Vice President, Texas, at Glacial Energy, and was most recently Divisional Vice President at Negawatt Business Solutions.
Energy Auction House has applied for a Maine electric broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.
Energy Auction House states that it is in the process of applying for broker licenses in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, and Illinois as well
The company also has authority to do business in Texas, Connecticut, New York, California, and Florida, which do not require broker licenses from the state utility regulator.
