Parent of Retail Supplier Makes Investment in OneRoof Energy
OneRoof Energy said that a subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Energy North America (GSENA) has purchased a minority position in OneRoof Energy, Inc. and has agreed to explore the development of new products and customer acquisition strategies.
Terms were not disclosed
"With the possible addition of GSENA as a joint marketing participant, we anticipate offering our SolarSelect lease to thousands of additional homeowners across the country, enabling them to embrace solar energy as a viable alternative to rising electricity bills," said David Field, President and Chief Executive Officer of OneRoof Energy.
According to OneRoof Energy, GDF SUEZ Energy North America and OneRoof Energy, "plan to explore development of new products and customer acquisition strategies initially on the East Coast where GSENA is an active participant in deregulated markets," through GDF SUEZ Energy North America's retail energy suppliers GDF SUEZ Energy Resources and Think Energy.
