Start-Up Retail Supplier Hires Former Direct Energy President
Guttman Energy, Inc. a petroleum marketer which is launching a retail energy supply business, confirmed that it has hired a former president of Direct Energy Business.
Specifically, Mike Senff now serves as President of the Natural Gas & Power Division of Guttman Energy, Inc.
Prior to joining Guttman Energy, Senff was interim President of Direct Energy Business, and was previously Vice President, North American Sales and Marketing, for Direct Energy.
Senff has also held roles at Enron Energy Services and FirstEnergy Solutions.
Guttman Energy also reported that it has hired Brad Quester as Head of Retail Energy Structuring of the Natural Gas & Power Division of Guttman Energy, Inc.
Prior to joining Guttman Energy, Quester was Head of Gas at Direct Energy, and was previously Pricing Manager at Constellation NewEnergy.
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (click here), Guttman Energy had already hired a number of Direct Energy and Strategic Energy veterans prior to the latest hires.
Guttman Energy has also applied at the Pennsylvania PUC to expand its natural gas supplier license to include service to all sizes of non-residential customers at Columbia Gas, Equitable Gas Company, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, and Philadelphia Gas Works.
Previously, Guttman Energy was licensed to serve such customers at Peoples Natural Gas Company, LLC and Peoples TWP LLC.
