Illinois Residential Migration to Competitive Supply Now Exceeds 3 Million Customers
Statewide migration of residential customers to competitive electric supply in Illinois now exceeds 3 million customers.
Specifically, as of October 31, statewide Illinois residential migration to competitive electric supply was 3,020,353 customers.
The state had been just under the 3 million residential shoppers mark (at 2.9 million) since April 2013.
From September 30, 2013 to October 31, 2013, ComEd saw an increase of 22,000 residential customers on competitive supply, versus the growth of only 1,100 residential shoppers from August 31 to September 30.
From September 30, 2013 to October 31, 2013, Ameren Rate Zone I saw an increase of 2,800 residential customers on competitive supply, versus growth of 4,100 residential shoppers from August 31 to September 30.
From September 30, 2013 to October 31, 2013, Ameren Rate Zone II saw an increase of 28 residential customers on competitive supply, versus the decline of 1,000 residential shoppers from August 31 to September 30.
From September 30, 2013 to October 31, 2013, Ameren Rate Zone III saw an increase of 4,400 residential customers on competitive supply, versus the decline of 1,300 residential shoppers from August 31 to September 30.
