Texas REP Offering $200 Incentive for Enrollments

Reliant is offering Texas customers a $200 incentive to sign up on Reliant's 14-month fixed rate plan.

Reliant's Secure Advantage 14 plan offers new customers a $200 Target gift card for enrollments.

In the Oncor service area, the Secure Advantage 14 plan, with $200 gift card, has an average all-in rate of 11.8¢ per kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. This reflects an energy charge of 7.9¢ per kWh, and a pass-through of Oncor charges of $6.48 per month and 3.2315¢ per kWh. A usage charge of $9.95 applies when monthly usage is below 800 kWh during a billing cycle.

In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, the Secure Advantage 14 plan, with $200 gift card, has an average all-in rate of 11.9¢ per kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. This reflects an energy charge of 7.6¢ per kWh, and a pass-through of CenterPoint-TDU charges of $9.45 per month and 3.4017¢ per kWh. A usage charge of $9.95 applies when monthly usage is below 800 kWh during a billing cycle.

Reliant also offers new customers selecting the Secure Advantage 14 plan the option to elect a $100 Target gift card, with Reliant making a $100 donation to the Salvation army. Pricing for this plan is slightly different.

This reflects an energy charge of 7.7¢ per kWh, and a pass-through of Oncor charges of $6.48 per month and 3.2315¢ per kWh. A usage charge of $9.95 applies when monthly usage is below 800 kWh during a billing cycle.

In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, the Secure Advantage 14 plan, with $100 gift card and $100 donation, has an average all-in rate of 11.7¢ per kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. This reflects an energy charge of 7.4¢ per kWh, and a pass-through of CenterPoint-TDU charges of $9.45 per month and 3.4017¢ per kWh. A usage charge of $9.95 applies when monthly usage is below 800 kWh during a billing cycle.

Each of the 14-month products includes an early termination fee of $225.
