National Retail Energy Supplier To Be Acquired by Private Equity-Backed Company
The assets of Glacial Energy Holdings will be acquired by Voltage Energy Holdings Inc., a private equity-backed company.
The transaction includes all of the Glacial-branded retail energy suppliers.
Glacial Energy will undergo a restructuring and rebranding exercise in the coming months. The existing Glacial retail energy suppliers remain in place.
"The previous owner of Glacial Energy will be exiting the retail energy space," Glacial Energy said.
The acquisition agreement is subject to regulatory approval.
