Michigan Utilities File Preliminary 2014 Choice Caps, Space Available at Three Utilities

Michigan electric utilities have filed their preliminary 2014 10% choice caps, and, at all utilities except three, current choice participation exceeds the preliminary caps.

The preliminary caps are based on 2013 weather-adjusted sales through November plus forecast December 2013 sales. Final 2014 caps will be filed in January.

Below are the preliminary caps filed by each utility and current choice participation, in MWh.

As noted above, space is available at Upper Peninsula Power Company, Wisconsin Public Service, and Indiana Michigan Power.
