Reporting by Karen Abbott • kabbott@energychoicematters.com

Texas Public Utility Commissioners yesterday indicated that the next resource adequacy open meeting/workshop, originally contemplated for late January and then February, will now likely be held in late March.

The workshop is intended to be informed by the Brattle economically optimal reserve margin report as well as the updated ERCOT Capacity, Demand, and Reserves report.

Chairman Donna Nelson said that scheduling did not work for a February date for the open meeting, and suggested a date in March, though no specific date was set yet as Staff will work with each Commissioner's office to find an open date.
