Utility Says ISO New England Has Informed It of Retirement of Retail Supplier's Load Asset

United Illuminating has informed the Connecticut PURA that it has been informed by ISO New England of the retirement of the load asset of a retail electric supplier

Specifically, UI informed the Connecticut PURA that, "The United illuminating [sic] Company has been notified by ISO-NE that the UI Metering Domain Load Asset for People's Power & Gas ('PPG') will be retired, effective at 0001 HRS on February 3, 2014."

"The Company [UI] had suspended the acceptance of enrollments from PPG due to a prior retirement of a PPG Load Asset and PPG currently has no generation service customers in the UI system," UI reported.
