Maine Discloses Standard Offer Suppliers
The Maine PUC disclosed that it designated NextEra Energy Power Marketing LLC as the supplier for 33% of the Standard Offer load for the residential and small non-residential class at Bangor Hydro-Electric and Central Maine Power, and that it also designated NextEra as the Standard Offer provider for 100% of the load for both the BHE and CMP medium commercial and industrial classes. Additionally, NextEra was selected to serve 100% of the Standard Offer load for the CMP large commercial and industrial class on an indexed basis, and to serve as the Time of Use Standard Offer provider at CMP. The Commission designated Algonquin Energy Service Inc. to serve 100% of the Standard Offer load for the BHE large commercial and industrial class on an indexed basis. All accepted bids were for a one-year period beginning March 1, 2014
United Illuminating Reports Default Service Supplier
United Illuminating reported that Dominion Retail, Inc. will serve 100% of Last Resort Service load for the second quarter of 2014.
