PECO Posts Prices from Default Service Procurement
PECO has posted prices from its January procurement of default service supplies, for various periods beginning June 1, 2014.
PECO said that it expects to post its June 1, 2014 actual Price to Compare by March 17, 2014
For residential customers, the January solicitation procured 10 tranches (1.6% of load each) of supply for the period June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015 at a weighted average winning bid price of $66.22/MWh.
As previously reported, the PUC rejected the results of the solicitation for 24-month residential contracts for the period starting June 1, 2014.
For small commercial customers, the January solicitation procured 12 tranches (4.17% of load each) of supply for the period June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015 at a weighted average winning bid price of $69.59/MWh.
For medium commercial customers, the January solicitation procured 12 tranches (8.33% of load each) of supply for the period June 1, 2014 to November 30, 2014 at a weighted average winning bid price of $65.16/MWh.
For large C&I customers, for the period June 2014 to May 2015, the procurement resulted in an adder to hourly prices of $5.16/MWh
