Retail Provider Withdraws as Default REP at Sharyland
Cirro Energy has withdrawn as a default retail electric provider at the Sharyland Utilities territories newly opening to choice on May 1.
"Cirro Energy recently notified Sharyland that its corporate parent, Dominion Resources, has decided to exit the deregulated retail electric markets in which it currently operates and has a pending sale that is expected to close in the next several months, and it requested that it be removed as a Default REP," Sharyland noted.
Cirro Energy had been selected as a default REP for the Residential, Small Non-Residential, and Medium Non-Residential classes at Sharyland Utilities. Cirro will also not serve as a POLR for these classes at Sharyland Utilities
With the withdrawal of Cirro, the default residential customer REPs at Sharyland Utilities are:
