NRG Retail Provider Acquires Customers of Texas REP
One of NRG Energy's retail electric providers has acquired the customers of a Texas REP.
Specifically, NRG's Everything Energy has acquired all of the customers of APNA Energy.
The transaction has closed, and Everything Energy began notifying customers of the change last week. All of APNA's existing customer contracts will be honored, including length of term, price, cancellation fees, and other terms of service.
Customers will be transitioned to Everything Energy beginning in late March and continuing through early April.
NRG would not disclose the number of customers acquired or terms of the transaction.
