Georgia PSC Forms Working Group on AGL Interruptible Tariff Revisions
The Georgia PSC has established a working group on proposed interruptible tariff revisions at Atlanta Gas Light.
The revisions are aimed at ensuring interruptible customers curtail when ordered to do so.
The revisions were approved on an interim basis in early February.
Suppliers serving interruptible customers have raised various concerns with the tariffs, including "overly restrictive" penalties and the lack of a tolerance band
As noted in our related story today (click here), mass marketers object to the billing of the marketer/pooler for the interruptible customer's unauthorized consumption as well as mismatch charges
The PSC directed that working group shall meet with the purpose of resolving all issues regarding the proposed tariff changes and to file, no later than May 1, 2014, a written resolution for the Commission's consideration.
