U.S. Gas & Electric Acquires Retail Supplier
U.S. Gas & Electric has acquired American Power Partners, LLC.
American Power Partners had been active in Maryland and Pennsylvania
A change in American Power Partners' ownership or business strategy had been expected after U.S. Gas & Electric recently announced that it had entered into a strategic marketing agreement with 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. 5LINX Enterprises had owned 75% of American Power Partners; Robert Kreppel had owned 25% of the membership interests in American Power Partners.
Specific terms of U.S. Gas & Electric's acquisition were not immediately available, but U.S. Gas & Electric confirmed it had acquired 100% of the membership interests in American Power Partners.
