TXU Energy Expands Home Warranty Services
TXU Energy has expanded its home warranty plans to now include protection for the whole home.
TXU's home warranty plans originally included surge protection and heating and air conditioning.
TXU Energy MyHome Protect now offers repair and replacement coverage for water heaters, plumbing systems, ovens, electrical systems, washers and dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves, central air conditioning and heating systems, faucets and plumbing stoppages.
TXU Energy MyHome Protect offers up to $100,000 in coverage each year with a flat $60 deductible per claim and no limit on the number of service claims per year. Covered systems and appliances that are working at the time a customer signs up will be repaired or replaced regardless of how old they are at the time of a covered service need. The plan also provides discounts for services that are not covered, as well as discounts for new appliances and systems, TXU said.
