New Texas Retail Provider Offering "Build Your Own Plan", Offering Nordstrom Gift Card
New Leaf Energy, a brand of Direct Energy exclusively offering renewable energy, has launched a tool to allow customers to build their own green energy plan.
It's another staple of Bounce Energy that is now being expanded across the Direct Energy family of companies, similar to DirecTV and home security offers.
The New Leaf Energy build your own plan offer does not appear to be offered generally yet, but is accessible through a promotion on Tidbits, on both the Houston and Dallas sites. Tidbits is a site focusing on, "local fashion, cuisine, cocktail culture, beauty, fitness, travel and events."
The build your own plan tool allows the customer to choose variable or anywhere from 3 to 36 months fixed, and the composition of their 100% renewable energy (offering 100% wind, 100% hydro, or a combination thereof). Customers may also choose whether to enroll in auto-pay, paperless billing, and various rewards programs.
Standard "off the shelf" rate plans are also available through the Tidbits promotion.
Tidbits readers enrolling with New Leaf Energy through the promotion will also receive a $50 Nordstrom gift card after three on-time payments.
New Leaf Energy will also provide a $20 bill credit for signing up for both paperless billing and auto pay
