Texas REP Offering $400 for Enrollments
Direct Energy has launched in Texas a product offering customers $400 in Visa gift cards or other retail gift card options.
The "Direct To You 400" plan includes a 24-month fixed rate and provides the first $200 gift card after the customer makes three on-time payments, with the second $200 paid after the customer remains with Direct for one full year.
At Oncor, the Direct To You 400 plan includes an average all-in rate of 11.9¢/kWh, based on 1,000 kWh usage. A monthly fee of $9.95 applies if usage is less than 999 kWh.
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, the Direct To You 400 plan includes an average all-in rate of 12.4¢/kWh, based on 1,000 kWh usage. A monthly fee of $9.95 applies if usage is less than 999 kWh.
The product includes a $300 early termination fee.
