Retail Customer Churn at TXU Parent Steady
Retail customer churn at Energy Future Holdings was steady during the three months ended December 31, 2013, versus the three months ended September 30, 2013, EFH said in a 10-K filed yesterday.
Specifically, EFH reported in its 10-K that its retail businesses were serving 1.516 million residential meters as of December 31, 2013, versus 1.524 million residential meters as of September 30, 2013, and 1.560 million a year ago.
The net churn of only 8,000 residential customers from September 30, 2013 to December 31, 2013 was level with the net churn from June 30, 2013 to September 30, 2013
EFH retail companies were serving 176,000 small business meters (< 1 MW) as of December 31, 2013, which was even with the total as of September 30, 2013, and also a year ago.
EFH retail companies were serving 17,000 large business meters as of December 31, 2013, which was even with the total as of September 30, 2013, and also a year ago.
Total EFH retail customer count was 1.709 million as of December 31, 2013, versus 1.717 million meters as of September 30, 2013, and 1.753 million a year ago.
