MP2 Energy Seeks Gas Supplier License
MP2 Energy NE, LLC applied for an Ohio natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. MP2 Energy said in its application that it currently bills over 14,000 meters every month, the vast majority of which are in Texas. MP2 Energy said that it serves a peak load of over 450 MW in ERCOT with load contracts flowing through August of 2018. As of September 2013, MP2 Energy had a less than 10 MW peak load representing a half a dozen customers within the PJM footprint.
Epiq Energy Receives Licenses in New State
The Maryland PSC granted Epiq Energy, LLC electric and natural gas broker licenses to serve all customer classes. Epiq Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shuk Holdings, which is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of IDT Energy, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Genie Energy Limited
Peoples Choice Energy Solutions Receives License in New State
The District of Columbia PSC granted Peoples Choice Energy Solutions, Inc. an electric broker license to serve residential and commercial customers.
Brio Energy Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted The Brio Energy Corporation an electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
