North American Power Names Retail Market Veteran As New CEO
North American Power has named Deryl Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Brown was previously CEO of Hudson Energy Services. Prior to that position, Brown was Vice-President and General Manager of Direct Energy Business Services, and spent 28 years at TXU, where, in addition to holding a variety of senior positions within the company’s regulated utility sector, he helped spearhead the establishment of its retail energy business.
Kerry Breitbart, current CEO and co-founder of North American Power, will serve as the company’s Chairman. In his new role, Breitbart plans to devote more time to supporting the company’s customer referral program
"North American Power has enjoyed incredible success in just its first few years. Our vision is to continue this success by focusing on customer diversification and innovative ways to deliver exceptional customer experiences," Brown said.
North American Power currently serves over 320,000 electricity and natural gas customers
