Update: 5/9/14, 5:20 pm ET Earlier: ERCOT began the Mass Transition of Reach’s customers on May 08, 2014, covering 4,975 ESI IDs.
ERCOT reported that the majority of the ESI IDs (4,964 ESI IDs) will be gained by one designated competitive retailer. The remaining 11 ESI IDs associated with Reach will be gained by one or more POLRs as allocated by the PUC mass transition process.
The size of the associated Reach load is approximately 222.02 MWhs per day.
In the market notice, ERCOT said that, at this time, it has no basis for anticipating uplift of short payments to the market in relation to this transition.
