Surprise! PPL Residential Price to Compare Actually Rising on June 1
Despite an earlier forecast of a decrease in the residential Price to Compare, PPL's official residential Price to Compare is increasing on June 1, according to data now available on PPL's website.
Specifically, PPL is listing the official residential RS Price to Compare for the three-month period starting June 1 as 9.036 cents per kWh.
That's about 3% higher than the current residential RS Price to Compare of 8.754 cents per kWh. The June 1 estimated RS Price to Compare had forecast a 4.4% decrease in the PTC (to about 8.4 cents)
The PPL small business (GS1, GS3-small) Price to Compare will be 9.585 cents per kWh starting June 1. The current small business PTC is 10.391 cents per kWh.
