Pennsylvania Regulations on New Supplier Disclosure Rules, Switching Timeline Receive Approval from Regulatory Review Commission
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) announced that the state's Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) approved regulations recently adopted by the PUC to reform disclosures required by retail electric suppliers, and to accelerate the switching timelines.

Switching Timeline: Pennsylvania Orders Electric Switches to Occur Within 3 Business Days
The regulations will become effective following publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, which is anticipated to be in June.
The regulations are still awaiting final review by the state Attorney General, the PUC said.
The accelerated switching is to be implemented within six months, while improved disclosures are to be in place within 30 days.
