IDT Energy Officially Launches Home Services and Energy Rewards
IDT Energy, Inc. officially announced the availability of IDT Energy Home Services and IDT Energy Rewards.
"Retail Energy Providers (REPs) must always look to enhance their value to the consumer as energy markets continue to evolve. Looking beyond competitive energy supply rates, we want to be our customers’ energy supply partners and offer them greater value with a range of related services," said Geoff Rochwarger, IDT Energy CEO.

IDT Energy customers impacted by the winter’s Polar Vortex rate spikes are eligible to sign up for a free six-month appliance protection plan.
In addition, IDT Energy is now making available to all of its customers an array of more comprehensive, paid coverage plans, including options that cover all major household appliances and more – for example, a washer, dryer, cook top, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, furnace, air conditioner, and water heater, as well as electrical wiring and inbound water pipes. Customers will be able to take advantage of special discounts off monthly fees for as long as they remain active IDT Energy customers in good standing.
Appliance protection services and home warranty programs are currently offered by IDT Energy in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois and the District of Columbia (DC). Expansion to New York State is anticipated.
Under the Rewards program, eligible IDT Energy customers may register their meters and earn points based on their consumption of electricity and natural gas. These points may be redeemed for items from a broad catalog of merchandise, giftcards, movie tickets, music downloads and more.
The Rewards program is expected to be available to the entire active customer base by July 1st, 2014. See www.IDTEnergyRewards.com.
