Connecticut Schedules Technical Meeting on Implementation of Retail Market Legislation
The Connecticut PURA has scheduled for June 30 a technical meeting on implementation of Public Acts 14-75 (the recent retail electric market and consumer protection changes) and 14-94 (which does not directly relate to the retail market but does include changes to certain municipal power purchasing programs).
The Authority has no agenda for this meeting; however, PURA staff will be available to answer questions, provide clarification, receive requests for issues to be addressed in the final decision of Docket 13-07-18, which had been examining retail market changes in parallel to the legislative developments, and/or discuss any issues relating to the implementation of the new legislative mandates.
PURA noted that, "requests have been made to the Authority for clarification regarding the implementation of Public Acts 14-75 and 14-94."
