Weekly Growth in Pennsylvania Residential Shopping Hits 1,500 Accounts; PECO, PPL Still Seeing Declines

Weekly growth in the number of Pennsylvania residential electric customers on competitive supply was over 1,500 for the most recent week, but continues to be driven solely by the four FirstEnergy EDCs, with declines in shopping continued to be recorded at PECO, PPL, and Duquesne Light.

The aggregate weekly growth of 1,566 residential shoppers was five times the week-ago growth of 315 shoppers, which had been the first statewide growth since February

Specifically, from about June 19 to June 25 (reporting date varies slightly by utility) the weekly change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply was:

For comparison, from about June 12 to June 18 (reporting date varies slightly by utility) the weekly change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply was:
