State Opens "Review" of Retail Supplier Offering Product Which Guarantees Savings, But Requires One-Year Commitment for Guarantee
The Connecticut PURA has assigned Docket 14-07-15 for a proceeding to "review" Choice Energy, LLC's marketing and billing practices in Connecticut, and specifically the terms of its guaranteed savings product.
According to a PURA notice, "Specifically, Choice marketing materials guarantee savings in comparison with local EDC rates, but Choice maintains that those savings are only certain if the customer remains with Choice for a period of no less than one year."
Aside from a notice opening the docket, nothing substantive has yet been filed in the docket.
