Costs To Be Removed from Price to Compare in Pennsylvania
Certain costs would be removed from the Price to Compare at Peoples Natural Gas-Equitable Division under a settlement and recommended decision in Peoples-Equitable's annual 1307(f) proceeding.
Specifically, effective October 1, 2014, Peoples-Equitable will remove balancing costs from the Price to Compare (PTC) since Peoples-Equitable recovers balancing costs from all transportation customers in the balancing charge. This change will continue into the future for the rate schedules that would transport under General Delivery Service (GDS).
Effective April 1, 2015, consistent with the implementation of a revised Capacity and Balancing Charge, the PTC will exclude the revised Capacity and Balancing Charge for all residential customers, Rate GSS customers who use gas for essential human needs, or any GSS customer who consumes 300 Mcf or less annually and elects firm delivery service under Rate Schedule FDS, since both retail and Rate FDS transportation ratepayers will pay these costs.
