Comcast/NRG Retail Brand Launches Natural Gas Service
Energy Rewards, the retail supply brand jointly offered by NRG Energy and Comcast, has begun offering natural gas service in western Pennsylvania.
Specifically, Energy Rewards is offering natural gas supply to Comcast subscribers at Columbia Gas and Peoples Natural Gas
In each natural gas territory, Energy Rewards is offering residential customers a monthly variable rate, with the rate during the first three months guaranteed to be 5% below the utility's Price to Compare.
The initial monthly rate is $0.40660/therm at Columbia Gas, and $4.57940/Mcf at Peoples Natural Gas.
Energy Rewards offers customers an enrollment bonus of a $25 Visa prepaid card when enrolling in natural gas (or electricity) only, or a $75 card when enrolling in both electricity and natural gas. As previously reported, Energy Rewards offers electricity service at Duquesne Light and (for certain counties) West Penn Power.
As in the past, other rewards include free premium move channels on Comcast service, Fandago movie tickets, and a free smart thermostat if the customer signs up for XFINITY home.
