Reliant Receives Approval for New Trade Names
The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Reliant Energy Retail Services, LLC an amended REP certificate (No. 10007) to include the trade names "NRG Home" and "NRG Business". As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, NRG has re-organized its business lines into new umbrellas, including NRG Home and NRG Business, with NRG Home including retail supply, residential solar, home product and services, smart energy solutions, and mobile/on-the-go power solutions. Reliant removed the trade names "Reliant Energy Residential Services" and "Reliant Energy Solutions" from the REP certificate
It's Electric & Water Receives Licenses in New State
The District of Columbia PSC granted It's Electric & Water Inc. electric and natural gas broker license to serve all customer classes.
Allegra's Energy Seeks New License
Allegra's Energy, Inc. applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license.
