Massachusetts Residential Default Service Rate to Exceed 16¢/kWh

National Grid has filed with the Massachusetts DPU basic service electric rates for the period beginning November 1, 2014.

The fixed basic service charge for residential customers is 16.182¢/kWh for November 2014 through April 2015

The fixed basic service charge for commercial (G-1) customers is 15.138¢/kWh for November 2014 through April 2015

The rates remain subject to DPU approval
