Correction: ERCOT Clarifies Source of Notice for Smart Meter Texas Portal
In our October 6 story concerning the implementation of third party access to the Smart Meter Texas portal, we erroneously attributed a market notice concerning the announcement to ERCOT, reporting that ERCOT had "set" the date for such access. Although the notice was issued via the RMS listserv, the market notice was not from ERCOT, but was from Smart Meter Texas, a distinct entity. Smart Meter Texas was responsible for the content of the market notice, including the setting of the date for third party access.
