Liberty Power Expands Residential Service to New State
Liberty Power recently expanded its residential electric service to Massachusetts.
Liberty Power is known to have engaged in residential telemarketing in the National Grid service area, and we have seen reports on social media of door-to-door sales at Nstar.
Liberty also offers C&I service in Massachusetts
Asked about specifics regarding its Massachusetts marketing, Liberty offered the following statement:
"Liberty Power, as the nation's largest independent retail electricity provider, markets to residential customers in nearly all utilities that have a purchase of receivables (POR) program. This explains our recent entry into Massachusetts, as well as our residential sales efforts in eight other states and Washington, D.C. We are proud to provide price protection through fixed-rate products and an alternative to the local utility for electricity customers in those deregulated markets."
According to its website, Liberty Power offers residential electricity in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio (Duke Energy Ohio only), Pennsylvania, and Texas.
