Dominion Retail Reports Lower Customer Count in Remaining Business Lines
Dominion Retail reported a lower average customer count in its natural gas and products & services business lines during the third quarter, versus the average during the second quarter of 2014.
Dominion Retail's average total customer count for the three months ended September 30, 2014 was 1.196 million customers, versus 1.245 million for the three months ended June 30, 2014, and 1.423 million for the year-ago quarter (all totals from prior quarters exclude any electric customers to provide an apples-to-apples comparison of the remaining businesses)
Dominion Retail's average natural gas customer count for the three months ended September 30, 2014 was 265,000 customers, versus 320,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2014, and 515,000 for the year-ago quarter.
Dominion Retail's average products and services customer count for the three months ended September 30, 2014 was 931,000 customers, versus 925,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2014, and 908,000 for the year-ago quarter.
Dominion Retail natural gas volumes were 8,866 mmcf for the third quarter of 2014, versus 10,406 mmcf a year ago
