PECO Price to Compare Inches Even Higher on December 1 From New Transmission Charge

PECO has posted updated Prices to Compare for the period beginning December 1 due to a revision in the bypassable transmission charge.

PECO previously posted December PTCs in October, but the rates have been further updated with new transmission rates.

For example, for residential customers, the transmission component of the updated December 1 PTC is 0.89¢/kWh, versus the 0.72¢/kWh used in the prior December 1 PTC.

For General Service customers (both under 100 kW and 100-500 kW), the transmission component of the updated December 1 PTC is 1.16¢/kWh, versus the 0.88¢/kWh used in the prior December 1 PTC.

The newly updated PECO Prices to Compare reflecting the updated transmission charge is below (¢/kWh):
