Verde Energy Acquires Texas Retail Provider
Verde Energy USA Texas, LLC has acquired 100% of the issued and outstanding membership interests in Potentia Energy, LLC.
As a result of the transaction, Potentia has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Verde TX. Verde TX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Verde Energy USA Holdings, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
In a REP certificate amendment filing with the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Verde requested that the Potentia REP certificate retain Potentia's name and authorize "Verde Energy USA Texas" as a trade name.
None of the current owners or executive management will remain with Potentia, Verde said in the filing.
