Bottled Water, Coffee Delivery Business Receives Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Convenient Ventures, LLC d/b/a EnergyObjective an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The company has said that it will primarily service medium and large C&Is. The company currently operates in Pennsylvania as a bottled water and coffee delivery business, as Sweet Arrow Springs and Coffee Break. The company is an affiliate of retail supplier Shipley Energy.
Comverge Receives Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Comverge, Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. At the time of its application filing (which occurred prior to Comverge separating its C&I demand response business into a new stand-alone company), Comverge said that the "primary" purpose of the application is so that Comverge can receive customer information from the EDCs to better manage its customer portfolio, but Comverge also said that it, "may also act as an intermediary in electricity transactions."
Premier Energy Group Receives New License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Premier Energy Group, LLC a natural gas broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.
