General Services Administration Awards Contract to Retail Supplier
Washington Gas Energy Services recently won a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract to serve power to the vast majority of Federal departments and agencies in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
The Maryland contract has a lifespan of two years and the District of Columbia contract extends over 18 months, with a projected start date of June 2015.
The estimated Maryland electricity load is 857,677 MWhs, and the District’s estimated load is 2,429,784 MWhs, totaling 3,287,461 MWhs.
