Reliant's New Plan? Get More, Save More
Reliant has begun offering a new electricity plan to Texas residential customers called Get More, Save More
The plan features an essentially two-tier declining block rate for the energy charge.
Reliant promotes the Get More, Save More plan as providing, "a competitive energy charge for the first 1,000 kWh used and a lower energy charge for additional usage."
In the Oncor service area, the Get More, Save More plan, which is a 12-month fixed plan, includes an average all-in fixed rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 10.7¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 6.2¢/kWh for usage up to 1,000 kWh, an energy charge of 3.7¢/kWh for usage above 1,000 kWh, a $6.95 base charge per billing cycle, and TDU charges of $5.25 per billing cycle and 3.3189¢/kWh
In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, the Get More, Save More 12 plan includes an average all-in fixed rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 11.9¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 6.3¢/kWh for usage up to 1,000 kWh, an energy charge of 3.8¢/kWh for usage above 1,000 kWh, a $6.95 base charge per billing cycle, and TDU charges of $8.52 per billing cycle and 4.0981¢/kWh
The Get More, Save More 12 plans include a $150 early termination fee.
