North American Power, under its Thrive brand, has begun marketing healthcare services dubbed SimpleHealth.
SimpleHealth, whose services are powered by telemedicine provider Teladoc, costs $49.99 per month and includes:
• Ability to reach U.S. board-certified doctors 24-7 through phone or video conference via computer or mobile, with no appointment necessary, and no out of pocket costs per consultation. Doctors can send prescriptions directly to the customer's pharmacy when appropriate
• Prescription discount card, offering up to 75% savings off retail prices at over 61,000 pharmacies nationwide, and online consultations with licensed health specialists, including psychologists and pharmacists and more
• Access to farm-to-table online market featuring fresh all-natural and organic produce with special discounted member pricing and free nationwide shipping, plus support from licensed dieticians and nutritionists
• Comprehensive online weight loss and body transformation program with ongoing support and coaching from licensed fitness and nutrition experts, plus discounts at thousands of gyms, spas, fitness and wellness centers nationwide
The service is described as offering immediate access to real doctors, with "affordable" urgent care, no insurance required, coast to coast availability, and no appointment or waiting room.
SimpleHealth is Thrive's latest offering, which also includes energy supply from North American Power, and smart home service offerings from Vivint.
