Texas Dismisses Disputed Application to Update REP Certificate
The Public Utility Commission of Texas dismissed without prejudice an application, purported to be made on behalf of Jade Energy, LLC d/b/a Bose Power & Electric, to, among other things, reflect a change in ownership and control. That application was disputed by individuals averring to have ownership in the company, and who said that the filing was not authorized (see earlier story on RetailEnergyX.com). Staff had said that the materials filed by the applicant, "fail to establish whether the representatives of Jade Energy, LLC listed in the application had the necessary authorization to file the application," as Staff also noted other deficiencies with respect to certain requirements of the certification Substantive Rules. Based on Staff's review, the Commission dismissed the application without prejudice.
Mansfield Power & Gas Receives License in New State
The Maryland PSC granted Mansfield Power & Gas, LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes.
Grid Energy Receives License in New State
The Maryland PSC granted Grid Energy LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
