NRG Home Now Offering "Ongoing" Goal Zero Product Rewards for Customers ($340 Value)

NRG Home is now offering to customers in its Northeast markets an electricity plan offering "ongoing" Goal Zero products during the term of the plan.

Initially after its acquisition of Goal Zero, a provider of portable solar products and solutions, NRG offered a single Goal Zero product as an enrollment bonus.

Now, under the new NRG Home Renewable Plan, customers will receive multiple Goal Zero products, worth an aggregate of $340, over the product's term.

Starting 30 days after enrollment onto the Renewable Plan, the customer will receive a Goal Zero Switch 8 Recharger. After 4 months, the customer will receive a Nomad 7 Solar Panel. After 8 months, the customer will receive a Torch 250 USB Power Hub + Flashlight. After 12 months, the customer will receive a Rock Out 2 Solar Rechargeable Speaker.

NRG Home's Renewable Plan offers 100% renewable electricity and a 12-month fixed rate.

NRG Home's Renewable Plan is available at all of NRG Home's active Northeast residential territories, including:

Massachusetts (Nstar, National Grid)

New York (ConEd, O&R)

New Jersey (PSE&G, JCPL, ACE, Rockland)

Pennsylvania (PECO, PPL, Met-Ed, Penelec, West Penn Power, Duquesne Light)

Maryland (BGE, Pepco, Delmarva, Potomac Edison)

Illinois (ComEd)

District of Columbia (Pepco)

As representative pricing, NRG Home's Renewable Plan at PECO includes a 12-month fixed rate of 10.9¢ per kWh.

Except where capped or otherwise prohibited by law, the NRG Home Renewable Plan includes an early cancellation fee of $10 per month remaining on the fixed price portion of the contract
