New York Further Delays Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) Proceeding
The New York PSC has further extended the schedule for consideration of its Reforming the Energy Vision proceeding, specifically, the Track 2 proceeding.
Track 2 is focusing on regulatory changes and ratemaking issues associated with REV policy. The PSC originally anticipated an initial Staff straw proposal on the regulatory changes and ratemaking issues in mid-July, 2014, and expected to reach a generic Commission policy determination on issues relating to regulatory design and ratemaking in the first quarter of 2015.
The PSC said yesterday that the Track 2 straw proposal, previously pushed to the end of January 2015, will be further postponed until second quarter 2015. "This postponement will permit Staff the opportunity to continue to explore Track Two issues, garner expert and/or stakeholder input where needed and, thereby, produce a more advanced work product that will provide a basis for stakeholder feedback," an ALJ said.
