Texas TDUs Report Number of Smart Meter Opt-Outs
Several Texas TDUs have reported the number of customers electing to opt-out of having a smart meter.
Oncor reports that as of December 31, 2014, it had 159 customers taking non-standard metering service.
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC reported that as of January 6, 2015, there are 62 ESIDs that have opted to have non-standard meter service
AEP Texas Central reports that as of January 7, 2015, it has 97 customers who have chosen non-standard metering service.
AEP Texas North reported that as of January 7, 2015, it had 33 customers who have chosen non-standard metering service.
