Washington Gas Energy Services Adopting New Brand To Reflect Forthcoming Additional Services

Washington Gas Energy Services, Inc. has changed its name and brand to WGL Energy Services, Inc.

"The name change for the Company is part of a comprehensive rebranding initiative of the family of companies owned by WGL Holdings, Inc. a registered holding company, and its energy commodity business is being rebranded under the name WGL Energy Services, Inc.," WGL Energy Services told the D.C. PSC.

In a letter to customers, WGL Energy Services states:

"Our name change is just the beginning. On January 15, 2015, we are launching WGL Energy, an entity that delivers a full ecosystem of energy offerings including natural gas, electricity, green power, carbon reduction, distributed generation and energy efficiency provided by WGL Energy Services, Inc. (formerly Washington Gas Energy Services, Inc.) and WGL Energy Systems, Inc. (formerly Washington Gas Energy Systems, Inc.). Our calling as WGL Energy is to make energy surprisingly easy for everyone we serve."

"As a WGL Energy customer, you'll continue to have low prices and budget-friendly plans for natural gas and electricity, along with options for adding wind power and carbon offsets. You'll soon see additional features including:

• Tools that will help you understand all of your options for saving money, conserving energy and protecting the environment.

• New renewable energy solutions, such as solar power for your home or business."

"When new products and services become available, we'll inform you via renewal correspondence, email and on our website."
