Texas REP Launches New Brand
Texas retail electric provider Nooruddin Investments, which does business as Discount Power, has begun offering service under a new brand, Power Express.
Power Express is offering service at Oncor and CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, with four types of 12-month fixed rates offered in each territory.
At Oncor, Power Express' Fast12 product includes an all-in average rate of 8.7¢/kWh (all average rates quotes at 1,000 kWh usage), which reflects a fixed energy charge of 5.0¢/kWh, and TDSP pass-throughs of $5.25 per month and 3.22¢/kWh
At Oncor, Power Express' Pro12 product includes an all-in average rate of 9.7¢/kWh. If the customer's usage is less than 550 kWh, the customer will receive a $4.99 bill credit
At Oncor, Power Express' Easy12 product includes an all-in average rate of 8.8¢/kWh. If the customer's usage is less than 999 kWh, a $14.95 minimum usage fee applies.
At Oncor, Power Express' SaveFor12 product includes an all-in average rate of 10.2¢/kWh. If the customer's usage is less than 1,500 kWh, a $14.95 minimum usage fee applies.
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Power Express' Fast12 product includes an all-in average rate of 9.7¢/kWh, which reflects a fixed energy charge of 5.0¢/kWh, and TDSP pass-throughs of $8.52 per month and 3.85¢/kWh
Each 12-month product includes a $150 early termination fee.
