Stream Secures Temporary Restraining Order Prohibiting Solavei from Disparaging Stream
Stream Energy announced that it has secured a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the 192nd District Court prohibiting Solavei from disparaging Stream.
Solavei has filed suit against Steam alleging Stream's mobile launch relied on proprietary technology and information allegedly obtained from Solavei. As previously reported, Stream moved forward with its planned nationwide launch of mobile services and is signing on new customers.
Stream features individual and group mobile plans, starting at $30 a month.
"We're ecstatic with the issuance of the TRO. Now we can focus our efforts appropriately – continuing to build our energy business and proceed with the nationwide launch of our mobile offering. We feel vindicated and reassured knowing that Solavei will have to answer to the court if it pursues disparaging Stream in the media," said Mark "Bouncer" Schiro, Stream president and CEO.
