Texas REP, TDU Reach Settlement Regarding Complaint Concerning Inaccurate Settlement Meter Data

Champion Energy Services, LLC and Texas New-Mexico Power Company have reached an agreement in principle which would resolve all issues in a complaint filed against TNMP by Champion concerning inaccurate settlement meter data (click here for background), including Champion's claims against TNMP and ERCOT and Champion's request that ERCOT be required to re-settle the market. The parties asked that the procedural schedule in the case be abated to allow the settlement to be finalized. The parties anticipate that the complaint will be withdrawn pursuant to settlement on or before Friday, February 6, 2015, and will otherwise provide a status report to the ALJ by that date.

Texas PUC Sets Workshop on System Benefit Fund

The Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas will hold a workshop regarding the status of the System Benefit Fund on March 5, 2015 (Project 21187). The purpose of the workshop is to clarify the Public Utility Commission's Legislative Appropriation Request for the 84th Biennium Budget.
