New York Issues Errata to New TPV Requirements, Strikes TPV Question
The New York PSC issued an errata which removes a third party verification requirement included in the PSC's recent rehearing order regarding TPV requirements.
Specifically, the errata strikes from the questions required to be asked during TPVs the question, "Are you a recipient of a Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) benefit or an income-based discount on your utility bill?"
This is consistent with the PSC's decision to implement a point-of-sale process to determine if a customer is participating in a low-income discount program (which would condition their enrollment with an ESCO on various factors, click here)
